Natassa Frederickou is the President of the Council of Frederick University and a passionate advocate for social justice, especially for matters of gender-based violence, gender equality and human trafficking. She has more than 20 years of experience in leadership positions through which she developed not only a diverse skillset but also a deep interest in human behavior. She is committed to supporting causes that bring solutions to the challenges our world is facing today through all suitable means.
She has been serving the President of the Council of Frederick University since 2018. Her main responsibilities can be summarized as the development of the University’s strategy to fulfil its mission. Under her leadership, the University has achieved significant growth and, notably, a strong engagement in increasing the University’s service to the society.
She participates in various committees and bodies. Among others, she is: a Member of the Advisory Committee on the Prevention and Combating of Domestic Violence, a Founding Member and Vice-President of the Zoe Vs War Violence Foundation, the Vice-President of the Friends of the Deaf Association, a Member of the Board of Directors of The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies, a Member of the Cyprus Forum Advisory Committee.
