Nikos Kyriakides

Nicos has more than 42 years of experience in the field of professional services working with the Big4, in key positions, both in Cyprus and abroad and during the last fifteen months through his own advisory firm. After completing his BSc. in Economics, specialising in Accounting & Finance, at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1982, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick in London in August 1985. Following his return to Cyprus in early 1986, he served initially as a manager and then from October 1988 as a Partner with KPMG and the other Big4 in Cyprus for the next 35 years. From 1988 to 1998 with KPMG, from 1998 to 2002 with Arthur Andersen and from 2002 to 2023, Nicos held the position of Financial Advisory Services Leader at Deloitte Cyprus and Partner in charge of their Limassol office. In June 2023 he formed his own advisory firm, Gravity Advisory Limited. He has extensive experience in Corporate Finance, M&A, Business Consulting, Audit, and International Tax planning.

Nicos has led numerous Consultancy and Financial Advisory projects across different industries relating to Forensic work, Mergers and Acquisitions, Reorganisations of Groups of companies, Capital and Debt Restructurings, Insolvency Work, Valuations, Business Plans and Feasibility Studies, Financing of Large Projects, Financial Due Diligence Reviews, Fairness Opinion Reports on Public Offerings and Flotations of Companies on Stock Exchanges in Cyprus and abroad.

He has extensive experience in many industries including Hotels, Leisure & Tourist Infrastructure, Banking and Insurance, Investment & Finance, Healthcare, Education, Technology & Innovation, Commodity Trading and Manufacturing, Construction and Real Estate Investments and Development, Retailers, Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, Shipping and Ship-management, Ports and Infrastructure and Renewable Energy.

He was also acting for several years as the Audit Engagement and Advisory Partner on numerous audit engagements (private and publicly listed companies), local and international business enterprises.

Nicos after retiring from Deloitte Cyprus in June 2023, he continues offering the advisory services mentioned above through being the Founder and Director of his own advisory firm, Gravity Advisory Limited and corporate services to business enterprises through Gravity Management Limited.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and holds a BSc (Economics) Degree in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Nicos is also a licensed Insolvency Practitioner in Cyprus.
